Rich Levitan train as an emergency physician in NYC, Bellevue Hospital/NYU Medical Center (1990-1994). He recently escaped from urban America; now clinically now working in rural hospital in New Hampshire.
Rich is an adjunct Professor Emergency Medicine, Dartmouth Medical College, Hanover NH; Visiting Professor Univ. Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore MD. His research interests are laryngeal imaging, direct and video laryngoscopy, supraglottic airways, surgical airways.
Rich is the founder of the largest fresh-tissue cadaver airway course in the world; started in 2002; now 20 cadavers every month except January (11 courses per year), University of Maryland Medical Center.
